Now we have hold outs in college football

Seriously? 99% of these kids have a zero percent chance of making the NFL. Many of them are making more than those in the NFL with a lot less games and a shorter season.
Even though we won, didn’t Ricky White not play his final game because he didn’t want to hurt his draft status?

I'm not sure how to get there but multi-year NIL contracts are needed.
Or, at the very least, go back to more of the traditional way of dealing with transfers. If you transfer you have to sit out for a year. Maybe give everyone one "free" transfer, but after that, there's no reason you should be able to keep jumping schools. Maybe in the event that your head coach leaves, but that's about it.

2 year contracts!

Also one portal entry per career. This is something the NCAA authority over.
Wont matter. Players would sue, get granted eligibility to transfer immediately and still be able to do whatever they want. NIL needs to have enforceable contracts, just like any other league. you either sign up for 1 year contract that can be revoked or you have guaranteed terms such as multi-year commitment and penalties for breaking.

There’s wut..130 Division 1 schools in 2025?

Someone will take a chance on him.
There are a lot of schools, IMO, that would take a chance on him. The question though, is how much they'd be willing to pay him. It's unlikely that anyone is going to give him the $2M he was getting at Tennessee and no chance he's getting the $4M he was trying to squeeze them into paying.

He probably ends up playing somewhere else next year for a lower dollar amount, hoping to increase his value, then transfer again the following season, unless he blows up and takes a shot at the NFL.

Yep you can be sure he will be in the portal again a year from now. They said so far only UCLA and Tulane have expressed interest 🤣 🤣

Is he Hawaiian Samoan or Both?

Game of the year. All eyes on us!!!

It looks like DeShaun Foster wants him bad and if signed it will be for less than 2M!
So much for that other QB that they just brought in from the portal.

It will be curious to see if the other guy jumps now, or if they actually have a competition for the starter spot. The Appalachian State QB, Aguilar, passed for over 3700 yards and 33 TDs, with only 10 INT's in 2023, but dropped down to 23 TD's and 14 INT's in 2024. Still pretty good numbers.

My guess is that it will be Iamaleava as starter, and Aguilar will either jump back into the portal, or just accept whatever NIL he's getting now and hope for the best.

UCLA vs UNLV could be on FOX (not FS1) in a prime time slot, not big noon given the storylines and Las Vegas always looks cooler in a night time setting. I expect a 7:30 pm kickoff time on national television.

This is an obvious P4 audition for UNLV.

100% depends on the Raiders. They won't do an evening game if the Raiders have a home game afterward on Sunday. Unless the game gets flexed to Friday, in which case it would be FS1 at best.

You might be right, raiders have only hosted once to kick off the season since opening Allegiant. Rest have been away games.

I still think there’s a good chance we’ll be in a position to be on the main Fox channel vs UCLA. Again it’s an audition and lots of eyeballs will be on this game.
