One of the things that makes Zimm such a valuable talent is his ability to go out to the arc and bury a three. So far this year he has only taken 4 three point shots. ( Made three of them). What is up with that??
Last year, one of the reasons Kaminsky was so devastating for Wisconsin was his ability to shoot the long ball. He averaged three attempts per game (making 41%), and it opened up the whole interior because they had to defend him. It also let him penetrate and score inside.
Zimm isn't some 7' kid from the Utah boondocks that you post underneath and hope he can get two points and 7 boards. I don't get burying Zimm underneath in the traditional center role when his value is in the entirety of his game.
Am I the only one who sees this?
