Can someone please tell me why in the hell do you play a 2-3 zone against a 50% 3 point shooting team?! Man I'm sorry but is this coaching staff that clueless?! Are they really that stupid!? anyone and everyone knows that if you are gonna play a zone against a 3 point shooting team like that that you play a goddam 3-2!!!!! Is it really that hard for these idiots to understand??!!! Especially that you have a depleted roster, why the hell do you play a man to man and 2-3? those defenses against a team like that wear your guys out!! Why would you play those with only 7 guys?! this shows me that this staff especially rice have no clue what they are doing. This is the third game in a row now they have played the wrong defense. Which tells me everything I need to know.
It sucks because I really like Dave but I'm sorry he just isn't the coach we all though he was. He can't adjust on the fly, he has no feel for the game while the game is going on, he looks at Stat sheets instead of watching the game, sometimes he just watches the game and makes no adjustments. I can go on but I'm too tired of the same old tune.
Hasn't anyone noticed the trends over the last 4 years? They haven't changed one bit! poor free throw shooting, poor defense, stagnant offense, no running game anywhere, under developed players, sound familiar? need I go on?! These are all clear signs of poor coaching ability. Plain and simple, however you slice it, ignore it all you want, coaching ability.
