I felt the need to post this here too. Hopefully ya'll don't hate me for it!

I see this as a long term build they are finally making a "REAL" decision on. Who knows, whats to say this wasn't a true mindset. How old was MM, and how old is TJ? Think about it... Here were my thoughts today, even if lack luster...1.4 MILLION F#CKING dollars a year to TJ, shows the country we aren't afraid to spend some doh tho right? Now 1.4 vs 2.8, does that mean we have 1.4 million left for staff???? Bring in some high lvl assistants...Why not? It's time to stop the idea of the Pitinos, Mattas and even the Millers and embrace what we are now. What's to say they did not try to lure them in, we just aren't desired, money or not. We should thank who ever you pray to that we even found a D1 coach willing to take the helm, 1 mil$ raise or not, we aren't exactly a dream job anymore. Look at what's out there job wise, available, do you blame them? Matta: Collect hundreds of thousands of dollars to sit on your ass because you "looked" for a job or deal with us, one of the most delusional toxic fan communities in the nation? PLEASE KNOW I'M NOT POINTING FINGERS HERE...ONLY (Though plenty of us are guilty EVEN MYSELF), but the collective.....? Yeah ****ing right.
It's how we react NOW, what our new coach does TODAY, that will dictate how desirable the job CAN become in the future. Time wasn't out, it never was, we all just needed a wake up call...

Please know I was HUGE on the RP and TM bandwagon and wanted it SO SO badly. Then reality slapped me in the face. AD, pres, WTF ever, sure as shit seems we are a broken record. Get hooked on 90's achievements, underachieve today, expect the rest of the world to feel our compassion, look for a coach, they say "Hell no" and blame excuses and everyone else instead of realizing what we are today no matter who is in charge.
Sky is falling at all times for some I guess.

I also think the RP and TM never had real substance other than a leak to allow them to say, "I looked into it." They used twitter and some individuals to push the agenda, to no fault of those that reported it, they simply shared the information they were given.
They make millions a year and been in the game a while, you don't think they know how to do it? I don't even think any less of them, they are just playing the game. It's 2019 after all.
