Lots of untimely penalties vs unlv kept it close. That they even look medicore playing a 4th string qb sez something decent.
That defense is bad. Has been bad all year.
Had one good game vs SDSU...
Not sure why anyone would think the 108th ranked defense in the country was any good.
Rebels defense was fantastic tonight.
Gifted UH with three short fields/extra possessions in the first half..

He played well after a rough start. I think being from Hawaii, he tried to do too much early.
Once he settled down he made some big throws and kept a few drives alive.
There's something to work with there. If the Oline improves I think he could become a solid starting QB.
Didn't play his senior year due to Covid.
He's from Hawaii, I think that lead to him forcing some early throws. Once he settled down, he played pretty well. Came up big on a couple 3rd downs.
The O-line play is a big part of his struggles. He's had to throw under a lot of pressure all season.
