That used to be the size of our LT. now we are adding a surplus of guys that size for our interior.6’3-6’4 280-290. Projected to be on the interior O line. Looks like he played DL and OL in high school, as well as wrestled. He was the state runner up champion in his weight class for wrestling.
He’s got quite a bit of fight in him. Hopefully it translates to football!
I like the pick up he has the size and strength I am guessing he lacks the technique which is why the smaller schools recruiting him. But our staff I am sure feels confident they can teach him the technique, footwork etc. Probably only to use it elsewhere but if we can get two seasons out of him..6’3-6’4 280-290. This is the way. Lets trade his worst year for his best year.Come in and start from day 1 for a year or two then go get paid. Unless you are an elite OL prospect not many start as true freshman at the Bigs.
