CSU is doing what we couldn’t do under Kevin, finishing off Memphis in crunch time, in the “freaking” NCAA tournament no less!

Well at least my bro is happy right about now! Lol

CSU is the one team I thought would win at least the conference didn’t pull an o’fer. When was the last team not named SDSU to win a non-qualification game in the tourney?

UNM had Dent and much more discipline team. Marquette way to much one on one ball.
So great showing for MWC, very suprised.
Question now is Pitino now gone? He needs to pick right school that can win, minny is not winning place!

BYU winning is an unpleasant surprise. Gonzaga losing to Houston is as expected. Both games are at the half!
Alabama/BYU (assuming Alabama gets past St. Mary’s) is going to be a REALLY fun game to watch. If BYU’s non-shooters are shooting well, they’re tough to beat. Both teams play at a hella fast pace. Bring it on.

UNLV’s next head coach was just on TV, front and center. You can’t buy that kind of good press

I hope Pastner is true to his word with wanting to play high-tempo because watching this Alabama team makes me sad that we missed out on Hodgson. Alabama's offense is very modern and sexy

Running, pushing tempo … and doing it well takes a ton of discipline even though it looks smooth and easy.

I’m all in favor of it. Not only is it fun to watch, so few teams actually commit to high pace … that, sort of like AFAs offense, it’s difficult to prepare for. Most prep is very similar because most offenses are very similar. Throw high octane at them which they might see 2-3 times per year … it’s just difficult to prepare for. Now add some elevation … you got something. I always though whoever is coaching at CSU, Wyoming should focus heavily on conditioning and pace, because even if you don’t get top tier talent, you’ll win more than you probably should just by style chosen.

I’d rather force the issue for 40 minutes and settle for 8-9 sloppy possessions than play it slower with fewer mistakes. I don’t mind some turnovers if you are getting more possessions.

Don’t know how many have picked up on this. With the fast break, especially Augmon but even Hunt…. They ran wide OB around the halfcourt line to give a more advantageous path to the basket. That doesn’t happen anymore.
