I think the best teams always have great players coming off the bench, so I think strategically you have to have a level of buy-in by your whole team and understand that it’s about winning games. It’s not about who walked out on the floor first.”

I really, really wish kids truly understood this. I'm very sure most don't because everything is so over the top ego driven nowadays. Not starting is a sleight, it's a message that you aren't as good or as valuable. That's what the thinking is. Man, it is so far off. No coach in the world is going to do anything to hamper his success, the coach knows what is best. You HAVE to buy in if you are going to be successful.
