You can’t always help the final score because you have to play whistle to whistle and don’t want your guys losing focus. Has to be taught.

But you do control who you play. And that part is shameful. Looks like he’s going with his UNLV scheduling that got him 20 wins in an attempt to save face and give UNLV some positive spins they could use from the department “most wins since, biggest improvement nationally”, etc. etc. HE LOVED that self generated positivity that was an insult to fans but could be used to fool the ignoramuses.

Laziest HC I’ve ever seen and when things go wrong he tries to shift the blame. When his seat got hot, he tried to say the administration was racist despite the fact the AD was a Latina/hispanic. I think it was that comment that got him fired. The decision was made then.

We have a good AD, UNLV President, a great UNLV football coach, my expectation is unless there is a marked improvement in the basketball program, they will find a way to replace Kruger. From what I can see with the boosters, there has been a large increase in support from the hotel/casino industry which will allow for the funds to keep improving the football program as well as fix basketball if it doesn't fix itself. UNLV is no longer financially in an either/or situation like in the past.
