The longer it goes, it sounds more like a situation where the AD leaks these names to them to print. Then, after a month when UNLV hasn't hired anyone and they end up settling for Menzies, they can say we tried to get Orgeron, etc, but it just didn't work out.

Media is impossible today. There are better sources for true info than media.

Coaches float stuff to get their name out there, maybe to get a raise where they are at, maybe just to freshen up their name, agents doing their bidding. Media needing to be “first” just throwing out everything and anything hoping something sticks. The uni themselves trying to generate excitement or making it look like they are “close” to an impossible get …
