It really comes down to the systems you want to run. KSU came out of the toilet of college football through properly recruiting JUCOs year in and year out, particularly on defense.

It is not an easy route. Most schools would prefer building through HS recruits.

Neither one is an easy route. Of course, most schools prefer to build through HS recruits but, similar to KSU before Bill Snyder took over, we aren't like most of the successful football schools.
