Another 3* recruit. Most people still don't believe in UNLV football, but those who do count (the recruits) are starting to believe. He already had offers from SJSU, Georgia State, Hawaii, Idaho, and New Mexico. Was also being recruited by unr, CSU, and also had interest from some of the Pac12 schools like Oregon St. Washington, California and Utah.
What's are running tally on 3 stars? I know just a rating that does not mean much but most of the writers that rates classes base it on the star ratings
Of our 7 2018 commitments, 4 are considered 3 stars. Though there might be a chance that one or more may be upgraded.
For this year, of the 19 commitments, 6 are 3 stars. Though many of our 2 star prospects are under rated (Katoanoga, Oluwassen, Bruce Hester, Nate Neal etc.)

We may lose a recruit here and there as we did last year but, overall, our depth quality is getting stronger each season.
It may not result in a 9-win season but we look like we belong on a college field.

While Rivals may show many of them as 2*, including the recruit from yesterday, a lot of them are rated 3* by other services. I believe almost all of the 2018 recruits are 3* on at least one services list.
