Roman absolutely is HC material. He's already the associate HC. Betting the TX kids are mostly his recruits.

I figured Spencer would leave. They didn't give her enough playing time throughout the season. Brackens and Rachi will be missed. Rachi more than anyone. We have Lott coming back, I hope, that helps at the guard position. Time to hit the portal and hope for the best.

Yeah, I thought Spencer could have helped this season. Rachi will do well. Hoping for the best but it appears that there could be more to come.
MWC has been weak without a doubt. Even then, 89-11 (.890) in conference is tremendous. 128-30 (.810) overall is nothing to scoff at either. She didn't pick the conference, just kicked their butt. These teams were unlike anything seen in over 30 years.
If this was the men's team record the last 5 years, the T&M would have sellouts.
These teams were fun to watch. The adage is that the people will come if you are a winner. They supported the Aces. She put her own money into promos to get people to show up to see a good product.
She deserved better support from this city and school.

If Lindy leaves we are in trouble. Otherwise, we can pick up some great talent in the portal. We need height and solid shooting from the 3 that can also play solid defense. This last game against Florida was so similar to the game against Creighton in the Tourney a couple of years ago where our defense seems to back off from a 3 shooter giving them too much space. We need to be right in their face. That is one area we need to do a better job. If you give them the space like we do you make them look like all stars.

Plus Florida was clearly bigger. The entire game - at 4 of the 5 positions - we were a couple of inches shorter. That can be overcome with speed and execution, but it's hard for the entire game.

The hockey-style substitution pattern in the 1st half didn't happen in the second. The effort in the 1st was extreme. I think McKinna's back and Meadow's shoulder flared up during the game. Each one was being evaluated off to the side and that made the rotation tough to do. The pace could not be maintained. Now, why not use Winfrey and Spence? Dunno. Seemed like ladies couldn't maintain the effort and wore down.
Also, Florida made 14, 3 pointers in the game. That's 56%. They average 31% for the year.
They, were extremely hot that day.
