All, I've seen of her at Oklahoma is that she is unstoppable and just makes lay-ups, over shorter opponents.

I heard that Desi had an injury issue keeping her from playing overseas.
Feels as if the team does miss Desi's presence and they need to find a way with a different kind of leadership. I think McKinna Brackens can be that person but will have to grow into it as opposed to Desi who had it from season 1.
Can't agree more that there is not a go-to player at the moment. For 3 years Kiara was the one who could hit that pull-up jumper when the team needed a boost. It's a struggle. So glad she ended the 0-14 start to the season on 3-pointers. Think it made to 16 before she 2 of the next 3 tries.
As much as playing these tough games can help, need to win a few as well. Former coach thinks the Northwestern game is one of those.
I, think the right game to sort of get the Lady Rebels over the hump is our next game. UCF.
They, are a P4 team that is similar to us. They, are athletic with length and are 5-0.
Haven't, played anybody except Marquette. All at home. This, will be their true road test. This, is winnable.
Yea, Brackens looks like she can be a leader for us. Hope, she steps out.
Disappointed, in Alyssa Brown's season. She, is too quiet and her on the court performance has been under whelming.
She, scored 2,600 points in HS. You, would think that would translate nicely, to the college level.
She, never averaged scoring double-digits in a season. That, time for her is now.
Kiara, is the leader for us. She, is the player that is leading the team so far.
Love Kiara, but she is a big part of the problem. She is needed and plays nearly the entire game when it's close. But she has to score or we go nowhere. Last year shooting stats - FG% 43.9, 3 Pt. % 40 %. This year stats - FG% 34.1, 3 Pt. % 10 %. ( Probably has to take shots she normally wouldn't, due to a lack of DESI)
Ki and AB are pressing. A couple of games ago they were both shooting 100 points below their career averages.
