ISU QB1 still undecided

Former Wyoming QB, who went into last year as the starter, is fighting for the job this year. Sounds a lot like our QB battle: nobody is really stepping up to take the job. Here's a short read from the Pocatello fishwrap.

UNLV has a depth chart out as of today with QB listed as "or" ...so we will find out Saturday who UNLV runs

I will not be shocked if...

Bailey wins the job, there are some packages for Doug, especially in the red zone to utilize his legs.

Doug wins the job, there are packages for Bailey if Arroyo wants to go up tempo for a series...

Regardless, if UNLV handles Idaho State like they should, both QBs should see plenty of reps.

This is another guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do everything possible to not play Friel more than the max games to try and make this his red shirt year...If not for injury he would have red shirt last year...
