Injury Report

Any word?
I wouldn't hold your breath

This staff tends to keep a tight lip on injuries. Most teams do, but they do to a more restrictive extent.

Our DT that was injured week one still hasn't returned. No word on him. Though they think he will return.

I'm guessing we will here if someone is out for the year though. So I guess no news is good news?

Wiemer has played well. But I think we can absorb this against UNM. Hopefully it’s short term though.
It stinks. Weimer is probably the best route runner on the team and Brum finally became more accurate hitting the crossing patterns where Weimer makes his living.

I think Nick Williams will fill in well, also I can see them moving Ricky White to the slot a bit more.

I like this kid Nick Williams. He’s done well in the little playing time he’s had and being 6’-4” and 220 lbs doesn’t hurt either

Like the way Zeon play against USU. And I like Nick Williams. We will need Ricky White to play well in this game.

Floated some safety help his way.

He also dropped 2...

The good thing is that the WR depth is such, that the passing game doesn't dry up if he's not getting the ball.
Ricky White is a different person. Ultra talented but doesn't seems to recognise that. JMHO.

I’m surprised Senika didn’t get the nod to replace Weimer.. I haven’t seen enough of Williams to have a strong opinion.. I thought Senika had the best camp & was our #1 option off the bench?

Williams seems to have gotten more game action so far this year. His size has been a tough match up as a receiver but has also helped with blocking.

But I would also like to see some more Senika out there as well.

UNM’s rush defense is ranked #116 in the country. We should pound them with Robbins and Reece as much as possible.
hmm. Where are you getting that stat?
NCAA.com has them as 37th in the country, with the 41st overall total defense.

Which is saying something since they just got housed by LSU.

I will admit their numbers seem off since they just gave up over 600 yards this past week.

Either way, I think their defense is better than they get credit for. Their offense do them no favors, and that D is on the field A LOT.

Think it will be a decent test for our offense.

yup that's where I got mine. I see that they are the 37th best rushing D. they are 130 in total OFFENSE, though.
