The win against UNM was so improbable that it is hard for me to believe we can win in Reno. In a real sense, we won that game because our defense was so inept in UNM's last drive lead taking drive, that UNLV had over a minute left. Any rational UNLV or UNM fan would have, based on the evidence of the previous 59 minutes of football, that UNLV's chances of scoring a TD were essentially zero! Lo and behold, a miracle befell the rebels and a TD was scored.
But winning a game while giving up about 8 yards per run is such an uncommon event, that it is hard to picture how UNLV wins in Reno. I hope my bad feelings are misplaced and the rebels will prevail, but my confidence level is very near zero.
