I think this game can have a huge impact for the immediate and near future when it comes to fan interest. Our fans are fickle so any little thing can “blow it”. We can take tiny steps forward but any single setback seems to be many steps backwards. I think hoops is in that same area too. This game presents a rare opportunity for major leap forward. Which usually doesn’t bode well for UNLV.
