Line ‘em up: Predictions and Game Thread Hey, we got a game in a few hours.

Greg Burrell wasnt allowed to travel to the game because he's in the portal. However, Tony Grimes was able to. Hmmmm...

Huge Defensive play coming up! Need to hold them to a fg. They get the ball first next half and dont want to go down by 2 scores

3-4 drops that should have been caught, but also a few bad throws. If receivers catch those couple balls UNLV could have a few more points
Eh, there was one by Bradley I believe but the rest weren't great passes.
I think they should let Friel play in 2nd half. It's his last game as a Rebel too. Let him run the offense for a bit

Cal is much better than us upfront and pretty much all over the field as far as depth goes.
We have no WR’s besides White and to a much lesser degree DeJesus but man our skill position guys are definitely MWC types!

We're only in this game because of the trick punt kick. I hope we have more of that up our sleeves. We're going to need it. Odum was a master at 2nd half adjustments. At full strength with all coaches, we win this. In this new world, I have no frigging idea. I'm definitely intrigued because of that punt play alone.

The OL isn't as good as you guys have hyped all season. Meh at best

Sure seems like against moderately bigger fronts they don't get any push. Boise now Cal just completely getting through the blocks...
Probably doesn't help that they don't believe Hajj can hit a WR so they're committing to stopping the run. Would be nice to not be 4/13 and a handful more yards than our punter

Amazing this offense did what it did this season given how poor a passer Hajj really is and how poor our receivers catch the ball (except for RW).

bad throws, when they are good throws it's dropped. Doesn't matter when both ends of connection are failing.

Short fields help. The lack of a passing game to losen up the run hurts vs good teams which is why looking back we failed to beat Boise, got lucky vs Kansas, and lost to Syracuse...

Mullen’s a bit quirky isn’t he? Almost looks a bit uncomfortable in his own skin, but in an oddly endearing way. I wonder if that helps him get guys to play hard for him.

I saw that too.. I hope he rubs most guys the right way with all that fidgeting he does! Lol

He’s got some oddness to him, a giddiness … Spurrier like in a way.
Yeah, its an eagerness and joy of the game. He's all buisness but he also enjoys it as well and from all sounds he's excited to be in Las Vegas and wants to turn it into a powerhouse and National brand for football

I’ve tuned into the game 2x tonight. The first one was just before the fake punt and the second time just now with the turnover/touchdown lol
