I totally agree this is stupid. The whole PC movement is stupid. However, I never liked Hey Reb.... a big fat guy with a mustache just never seemed Runnin Rebelish.. I’m soo glad he is gone. I believe his image, being so stupid, cost UNLV tons of money in apparel sales. I would never buy anything with him on it. Also, skip the whole mascot thing. We dont need one. If Indiana &Michigan can get by without one we can too. The classy UNLV arch is perfect in my estimation.Bye Hey Reb & Go REBS.....

I didn’t like Roid Reb either. None of the big ones appealed to me. I did like the older skinnier one though.
