We can’t just continue down a road of mediocrity. If our moribund football program can figure it out, our basketball can too. I pray.
If this report is true I’m expecting a quick announcement of a the new coach. Harp’s shown that when he moves quickly he has the next domino lined up. It will also indicate that donors stepped up. Here’s to hoping Harp makes another Odom-type of hire!! 🙏🏼
I wish him the best in his future endeavors. He did wonders for us as a player, and he'll always be a UNLV legend. He seems like a fine person and a great father, but we need a new direction.

The AD picked the right coaches to fix football, I trust he will do the same for basketball

That seems contrary to how he handled the 2 football hires he made!
He already has a list more than just Wade.
It could be announced soon (Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, if we agree to terms).
I hope Harper makes the right hire for basketball coach. It is going to take more than just hiring the right coach. He needs to have NIL money lined up to bring in the players. I reallly hope he has the $$$ commitment. I am fully expecting 0-2 players to return. Whoever the new coach ia going to be he is going to have very limited time to put together a team and a new staff. Hoping Harper is already well on his way to hiring the new coach. But i am very excited to see what happens over the next month or so

At the speed that Harper hired the two football coaches, I expect to see the new basketball coach in Las Vegas by the end of next week!
