A 2026 commit at DT is 6’4” and weighs 350lbs?!
I like the guys of the future so far in Blair, Albrecht and Nellum, nice!

None of these guys are highly rated. But you can see the talents. I am attaching the 24/7 commitments list. These fellas are ballers.A 2026 commit at DT is 6’4” and weighs 350lbs?!

If he is able to find the diamonds in the rough like Odom did with transfers, it will be a good next few years.None of these guys are highly rated. But you can see the talents. I am attaching the 24/7 commitments list. These fellas are ballers.

That's not entirely true. No 4 stars yet, but you have to evaluate classes based on more than stars.None of these guys are highly rated. But you can see the talents. I am attaching the 24/7 commitments list. These fellas are ballers.

At 61 we have the second highest rated G6 class behind Boise. Also ranked ahead of Auburn, WSU, NC St, Utah, AZ, OR St, Nebraska, Virginia, WF, Missouri, VA Tech…so not bad for a first class! That's not entirely true. No 4 stars yet, but you have to evaluate classes based on more than stars.
There are 32 5 stars every year, generally 33-400 are 4 stars (using on3 which has the most comprehensive ranking). Of those top 400 players currently zero have committed to G5 schools, and I can only find one G6 who is in the top three of a 4 star (Fresno with a <1% crystal ball for TE Israel Briggs) though I could have missed a few. It is much easier to get 4 star guys in the transfer window.
So if we have ~400 or so 4 & 5 stars, how many 3 stars are there? Again, varies, but usually in the 1800-2000 range. The distribution of players looks like a diamond and there are far more 'unrated' players than 1 star guys these days.
So when evaluating a class, if you have a top 1200 guy that's usually a good get (upper half of the diamond. You also can look at positional rankings, but you have to look at them with a little eye for detail. Top 100 in positions where there's usually only one starter per team (QB, C, TE, HB) or top 200 in positions where there are two for most teams (WR, CB, S, DT, OG, OT, EDGE--though with all the spread sets you might fudge WR and CB to 250). Most of those guys will end up at P4 programs. 1200-1600 are usually considered pretty good for G6 teams.
Right now we have 4 top 1200 guys (Harden 855, Garcia 1024, Bell 1053, Fox 1163). These are guys where you definitely beat out some quality p4 teams. Then we have 6 players in the 1200-1600 (Zachary 1265, Sanchez 1315, Fesili 1462, Lendsey 1522, Nunley 1530, Nellum 1597, Albrecht 1628). Those guys will have occasional P4 offers. We have a few guys who haven't been rated by On3 (Nicolaidis , Carner) who are probably outside the top 1600. Those top 10 guys are all good matches for positional rankings as only Nunley is over the positional threshold for a nice recruit for us (and he makes the top 250).
It's shaping up to be a really nice freshman class--though personally I wouldn't like to see more than 15 or so freshman every year. I think for the most success in the modern game, we're going to need to look at 10-12 transfer a year minimally from P4 programs. Freshman recruiting is more important for those blue bloods who are playing mostly in the top 400.
TL;DR - this IS a pretty highly rated class for a G6
I lately have started rolling with the on3 industry average which has us at 65 but that is still better than everyone on your list but Auburn (only 6 commits but 3 4 star guys, so a high average) but have us behind App State, Tulane, Miami (OH), and Memphis for 6th in the G6. That's without Prin Fox who probably moves us right to the same place as the rivals ranking haha. Either way, that seems pretty dang good to me.At 61 we have the second highest rated G6 class behind Boise. Not bad for us, just a little more than two and a half years ago, we were in obscurity with recruiting, now not so much.At 61 we have the second highest rated G6 class behind Boise. You can go back a lot further. JRob had 4/6 top 100 classes, with his best being 50th (these old numbers aren't nearly as reliable and didn't calculate transfers separately). Sanford had 3/5 top 100 classes with 81st being his best class. Hauck had 2/5 top 100 classes with 95th being his highest rated class. Sanchez had 1/4 top 100 classes with 81st being his highest. Arroyo had 2/5 top 100 classes with his highest being 72nd. Odom was 1/2 with top 100 classes with 95th being his highest.a little more than two and a half years ago, we were in obscurity with recruiting, now not so much
I bet it only gets better from here too. One more season similar to last year and Mullen will do even more.I lately have started rolling with the on3 industry average which has us at 65 but that is still better than everyone on your list but Auburn (only 6 commits but 3 4 star guys, so a high average) but have us behind App State, Tulane, Miami (OH), and Memphis for 6th in the G6. And Boise is just a LITTLE bit ahead. 1 more top 1200 guy, and 2 more top 1600 guys as the rankings are out now. And we had a LOT better 2025 transfer class (though we also lost a lot more than they did with the coaching change).
I doubt it. I am assuming he himself got a better offer. Media deal wouldn’t matter to him. He doesn’t get paid from it.Oh, no. He just de-committed. Does, this have anything to do with the Media Deal, the Pac got?
Okay, I was thinking more of the exposure side of things. Being, on tv more.I doubt it. I am assuming he himself got a better offer. Media deal wouldn’t matter to him. He doesn’t get paid from it.
I want volunteers not hostages. Best of luck to the young man, if you can get more money, you should get more money.I doubt it. I am assuming he himself got a better offer. Media deal wouldn’t matter to him. He doesn’t get paid from it.
He has just as much of a chance getting that here as he would in any school in the Pac.Okay, I was thinking more of the exposure side of things. Being, on tv more.
