If I’ve got this right, UNR won 19 games, and we won 18. So I’m assuming that, had we been inclined to pony up the 40 Grand, we could have played in the CBI too.

I mean, they deserve a bit of credit for beating the teams that were put in front of them, all home games, except for their one loss, by the way. But paying your way in is…weak.

Just as seedy as CBI seems... Sure It was a lot of fun for Wolpack. It creates union and builds some kind momentum for the future. So... from our current position I don't know if it's really so laughable to win this CBI tnmt

I don't think anybody's laughing at them winning the tourney and I'm sure they will be an improved opponent moving forward, but you're gonna hang a banner because of it, esp. the participation banners, that is pitiful.

Just I remember it's the first "Championship" won for MW. Seedy championship? Sure...but it is.

To hang participations banners...yes, it's some kind of pathetic.
