For the first time in a long time I think our coach made the better half-time adjustments. The way the second half started it was a completely different team than in the first.

I was tired of being out - coached.

All three games under Simon, we have started the 2nd half well. If they keep this up, the coaching situation may get a lot simpler.

What were these adjustments though? I thought the team forced turnovers, made them take tough shots, and started making 3's.

In other words, they played better defense.

it helps when the other team misses or turns the ball over.

if the Rebels were taking contested jumpers like the Aggies were i would've freaked out. problem was they were hitting a lot, especially in the first half.

They look different. And it totally feels different. This is a big wn and they didn't give away the lead. They actually closed out a team! I like what I see

This team looks nothing like a Dave Rice-coached team. We haven't had the long scoring droughts, our defense has cranked it up a couple of notches, rotations and substitutions have been better, team effort and ball movement has been better, we're averaging more points per game, we're playing more transition style, players seem genuinely more happy, etc. etc.

Last 3 games have been a lot of fun. Team is playing as advertised - good solid D, solid transition basketball, even attacking the zone, half court sets are vastly improved, and playing with an abundance of energy. A couple of guys have really turned the corner the last couple of games (Jones & Zimmerman). Big Zimm really does a lot of things on the court...inside & away from the basket. Really looking forward to the next game and rest of the season.
