How about a little more game prep discussion with Fresno 48 hours away. What should expect from Hajj? I’ve only seen him in his limited appearance against Utah Tech when CBO “took the air out of the ball” and didn’t run many pass plays. Still Hajj didn’t look at all comfortable and didn’t run very well as I recall against a very poor defense. Presumably he wasn’t playing with the first string OL in front of him. Very interested to see what kind of arm he has. If he can hit our receivers at a 60% clip and run even half as much as our former QB then we should have a decent shot at taking this game. Anyone see this kid in action during spring ball or otherwise?

We don't know what Hajj will deliver because we haven't seen him much. It's a shame his first starting game is against Fresno. It will either make him or break him. Expect to see the Fresno defense go after him and do everything they can to rattle him. O line better be ready to give him a chance.

This UNLV OL gone up against KU DL and pretty held their own. Do you think FSU DL is better than KU's? I dont.

I watched 2.5 of his games online and was less than impressed with his decision making and accuracy.

I say give him a shot downfield early. A lot of RPO stuff. 1 read and go. Just to let him get settled. He's a guy with a lot of starts but considering what went down this week there's some real pressure.

I do believe the team will rally around Hajj.

And I believe we will see it manifest mostly defensively. I think they’re going to pound FSU into oblivion. Woodard is going to go Charles Jefferson and leave bodies twitching.

Watching a couple of his Campbell games, he’s fairly balanced. He can hit those short to mid field throws while still being slippery on the scramble.

He doesn’t have the previous qb’s top end speed, but he’s far from slow. He’s fast enough to keep defenses honest and get us a few years here and there.

Unlike the previous qb, he can do more than be a 1 read charlie. Campbell was more of a spread option. With over 70% passing his senior year on 329 passes, he can get us to victory.

Last qb is gone, but the O line that made the Kansas game winnable is all still in place. Hajj should be able to spread the love and utilize our two all American receivers.

The difference betwen UNLV and Campbell games is that he will have two All American receivers to pass to along with some top notch transfers. I wonder why Sluka couldn't pass, or was he too busy county his money?

Definitely. Hajj already has the confidence of the locker room. It wasn’t a mistake that people like Ricky White posted support. I want us to punch out against the traitor schools so I can bring a “metrics” sign.

I HATE reno. But I want them to punch out against the traitor schools too.
