The best I could give UNLV is a D (an F for coaching down the stretch). If they lost the game I would have given them an F! It was nice to see UNLV took a time out near the end of the game to give SU time to set up a nice 3 point play. It was also nice seeing UNLV fouling at the end of the game instead of trying to play decent defense. With UNLV only up by 4 they go and foul the other team to let them close the gap without using any time. These are the types of games UNLV needs to win easily, not struggle until the end to see who will win!

Seriously, I think we can just chalk this one up to the Rebels not playing well. SUU was pumped, there’s history there, it’s their game of the year, they came in and played relatively well. The Rebels didn’t. It happens. Not a great win, none of them have been, but it’s a win.
