Now that we are back to looking at guys who will take less than $1 million, I started thinking about Gottlieb.
He is higher risk than Menzies or a guy with head coaching experience, but much higher reward than Menzies and some of the other uninspiring names we are now hearing.
Gottlieb has name ID with recruits. Great California recruiting connections. Has a swagger to him that would fit the town.
There was a great story written about him a couple of years agobthat focused on his work ethic.
His dream job just got filled by Underwood, so he may want to stay a few years.

Initially I wanted a guy like Dixon, Cronin, etc with significant HC experience, but now I am leaning toward taking a gamble.
