This town is going nuts. Everywhere you turn. It’s very reminiscent.
It’s great for the town, it really is.
Lots of experts looking at our lack of scoring against the Kings and playing it up as if it were some indication that our style of play doesn't translate well to the playoffs. They also conveniently forgot to point out that Quick for LA is one of the best keepers in the world and MILES better than Martin Jones for SJ.
I was honestly more worried about the LA series than this series against the Sharks. LA's physicality and Quick worried me a bit, but San Jose plays a similar style to us except we're better at it, we're deeper and Fleury is significantly better than Jones. VGK in 5.

I think we'll beat San Jose, it might be seven games, but we'll beat them.
I agree with Joe though. The hype around VGK in Vegas is unreal. Great to see....I just hope UNLV comes close to this again in my lifetime. And **** the Raiders.

Having a little fun with it, Im the resident hater at work. EVERYONE is rocking VKnight gear. Im "Meh - Im a hater." That was UNLV once upon a time. Its like getting dumped and watching your ex date the rich guy you see at the poker games.

I’ve never watched Back to the Future..
I know the premise but I watched it as a kid and I couldn’t pay attention.
I like VGK but The fever hasn’t caught me.
It’s interesting watching this team being embraced by the city.
I came here in 1985 but didn’t catch Rebel Fever until our 1987 Final Four Run. I had to have been in the 5th grade at the time. So I’m kinda comparing my experience and watching a younger generation follow a sports team
When you’re a kid, stuff like this makes a lasting impression.
Kids in Vegas deserve a good team to root for.
It really comes down to being proud of your city. And what UNLV basketball did for me is what VGK is doing to Vegas residents. We hadn’t had a winner in a long long time.
I never thought about it, but there might come a day when I drop UNLV sports and pay attention to another team. It’s gonna happen, kinda like dementia or Alzheimer’s.
