I am going to start beating the drum for this guy right now. Speculation is that he is going to lose his job in Sacramento and he will be without. I know he previously had some interest in UNLV and I think he is a GREAT coach. If he could keep Simon on the bench with him as his top assistant in charge of recruiting I have no doubt this guy would have the Rebel program turned around in a heart beat. He has always been known as a great motivator that communicates great with his players, a great teacher and very good bench tactician. He has a great ability to mold his style of play to his players - not the other way around. I think he would be perfect in Las Vegas and have the Rebels ranked immediately.

Karl could be a really good college coach, in a position where he has more control than in the pros. My only question is would he bail when the first good opportunity opens up in the NBA

Pitino is number 1 choice for me and it isn't even close. Karl would be second from the names I have heard so far.

Karl will keep his job though. The guy is very respected as a coach.
