After the two lower scoring games, UNLV went on a slug fest with 19 hits and 14 runs. They did give up 11 hits and 9 runs to Air Force. UNLV had two errors Air Force had 4 errors - some sloppy play

UNLV 14-9

They took the series 2-1, but the one loss in the bottom of the 9th for game two did hurt their chances at a at large bid. They have no choice but to win the remaining games to have any chance and then do good in the Mountain West Tournament. Of course, if they can put it together and win the conference they will get the autobid!!
