Was wondering how prospective candidates would look at the UNLV job. Would they look at it and say, "No way am I gonna step into that low-support cluster f---," or would it be more like, "Nowhere to go but up and I know I can wake the sleeping giant"? Whoever it is would need to be able to rally the community. I'm hearing that a one-time NBA Executive of the Year with strong UNLV ties is very, very interested in the job. And if you think UNLV is a mess, it has to look like a refuge compared to the Knicks!
