Hill and the Boones came. All will be here through tomorrow. Someone is also coming on an unofficial tomorrow to meet them. It's not a transfer.
Hill is committed. Thats done with and I was there when it happened. Keylan sounded and looked more excited to be here compared to Kalib. Not saying that Kalib doesn't want to be here but he didn't look as engaged. They haven't committed yet; silently or publicly, but it should be happening soon.
I agree. I was told he even skipped out on some Zoom meetings with other schools but can't confirm this myself nor do I have direct knowledge that this happened.
It is important we get the twins, especially Kalib as he fills more of a need than Keylan. They would both be really good for us but Kalib plays like more of a big and we are in desperate need of that. I hope his brother can convince him of UNLV while they’re here.

As for Cisse, I'm guessing he or his group heard what they wanted from someone else and decided to just ghost everyone else.. kind of poor move, but whatever, that's kids these days.
I'm interested in the surprise visit, there's a whole other thread about that coaches kid... but sounds like another HS kid out of left field?
You make a good point; they aren't scared to not play together but I personally think they will just because it's their last year. They both know they'll have big roles. The whole staff preached that to them.

This visit means nothing crazy, just that he will be on campus with Hill, the Boones, and Cottrell in his ear.
It'd be great to get both but if we get even 1 that would be a victory. Hill, one of the Boone twins, and Brock Vice wouldn't be a bad haul to go along with Whaley and Hicks. A solid guy at point is still a big hole we need to fill. I think Vice, Hill, Whaley and a healthy Cottrell improves our rebounding to be at least respectable.
We need both the Boone’s, just my thoughts on it!

Thank you! It's an unofficial btw for anyone that is wondering and by no means is he committing tomorrow too. Just a conversation in person, on campus, and to get shots up together. Visualization is key for college kids.

Not to my knowledge, no.
Vice will be committing sooner or later and I think after that happens, the staff will focus in on the next group of bigs that are available. All of their focus should be towards Sharp IMO. He would be the perfect center in our new lineup
I know it’s probably still unlikely but if KK can get Dedan I’ll be really impressed. He would be the 7th highest ranked recruit to commit to UNLV in the 247 sports ranking era.

Remember most players entering the portal do not publicly list which schools have contacted them. So we really don’t know how big of a recruiting net UNLV has cast. Also, there are a lot of post players that would be a step up who have yet to commit.
