I am more than willing to get a "better" head coach. But who are we going to get?

Unforeseen consequences:
Lose recruits
All the unsigned guys might not sign...worth the risk? Remember the Florida Gate from last year..."We want Dave back and we will give you what you need"
I have heard from various sources...nothing I would bet my life on....that if he drops Fresno and NM he is done immediately. Well he is 50% there. So who replaces him? Is there anyway for Dave to salvage this? What does Dave have to do to win back the fans?
Does he need to improve the free throw shooting? - Remember that was on Dave. Coaches have limited time with players. Free Throws are on the players.
I know it is not free throws but I can't stand it when we don't give specific things to do to save his job. Win X%, or make tourney or win conference...etc. But we as fans are fickle. I know I am. I usually love all things Rebels and love to read news, comments, etc. But after last nights game I drove home and just don't know what to say. I am trying to think positive and I am a Rice supporter (but really a Rebel supporter), and I am now willing and wanting to look for other alternatives. I can tell I really care about this team because it ruins my night and day when this crap happens. For my health something has to change.
