It was a great coup on KK's part to bring back Hamilton and utilize him the way he did. There will be a lot of transfers in the portal that are looking for a chance to showcase their offensive talents and they saw what KK did with Hamilton. No doubt in my mind that we will land a couple of guys that can fill it up. I would love to see us land a small quick PG that can get to the lane anytime he wants as well as lead the fast break and hit the 3 ball and make free throws. We are also gonna need another wing player to come in that can take a game over. That is where KK's utilization of Hamilton will come in. Next we need the alpha dog 6'8" 245 power forward that can take care of business down low. Donovan, Vicktor and Muoka will all have a big year. Rebs will be vastly improved next year!

A PG, and two more guys who can create off the dribble and score the ball at all 3 levels, 3pt line, mid-range and at the rim. The rest of the Rebels need to improve on offense Muoka, Iwuakor, Baker, Webster, Gilbert and McCabe need to get some mid-range ability!

Yeah honestly i dont understand why Bryce wouldn't come back yet 1 last year like he has the option to do. He would only benefit from it. He could really solidify himself as 1st round pick and house hold name. Along with possibly becoming one of the greatest Rebels of all time, and leave after getting the Rebs back into the tourney where he deserves to end and where we rightfully deserve to be. I mean even if he does get drafted this year he wont play whatsoever on any team so whats the rush? Dont risk possibly going undrafted and be stuck in the d league forever come back and improve as great as he was himself and us all know he has alot to improve on. Come on Bryce let's do it right!

I would love to see him come back and work on offensive efficiency. He was getting better towards the end of the year and him and Williams together all year could be nice! Kevin would still need a few good scorers to go with Hamilton and Williams and another big but Bryce coming back would be a good start.

Love BHam for sticking around the full four years (unheard of today) and it’s be a dream to have him return but he’d be crazy to come back another year. Bryce should play BB full-time with better training and playing against better competition, whether that’s in the G league, Europe or wherever. Sports is a short career with a small window to make your fortune (not to mention potentially uplift his family for generations). Thank you for such a great Rebel career Bryce, now go make your $$$.

He has been awesome this year. He should go and make some $$$ for himself and family.

Below is an excellent - but lengthy - article on Basketball pay around the world. As long as BHam can play in the better European leagues or in China he'd be foolish to take up another year of earnings to stay.

NIL does make this an interesting discussion.

Previously G league had a slightly stronger argument. Getting paid #1, but also better competition, coaching and fitting your game into a more NBA style, etc etc.

But now with NIL, there is at least some financial incentive. Star college players are more marketable than G leaguers, that is for sure. Most G league contracts aren't much, so it is possible to make more in college.

As for Bryce, tough call to return. He did get signficantly better this season, hard to see it happening again.

This is a great point and as you said there are NIL’ers getting paid well to rep things now so G league and going overseas where there’s a language and custom barrier not to mention anything could happen (see the Ukrain) a decent NIL deal might be hatched that could be of interest to Bryce. Not saying any of this will or won’t happen but Bryce coming back and improving his offensive efficiency is not a waste or bad idea, it will just make him even more NBA ready!

Don’t you think other schools could offer a far better NIL for him?

He has announced that he will enter the draft. Whether he withdraws is a question, but not likely to return.
