He was extremely popular with his OL players.

I know he was successful at FIU but his stint here wasn't that impressive to me (as OL coach). The guy before him seemed to have us in much better positions.

That being said, I wish him all the luck in the world and I hope his glich here was the UNLV-effect more than any limitations in his coaching.

I thought as OL he did a good job at UNLV. Not sure about OC.

He inherited an exceedingly well taught OL from Garrison when all that stuff went down. I think UNLV lost on that one when they lost Garrison... but not by much.
