But not Pissed. Game went as I thought it would, but when we were tied with 7 minutes or so, I was hopeful it would be UNLV with the separation, not SDSU.

Again, far from beautiful, neither team played well offensively, were pretty good defensively. But we are running pretty solid offense, it was a bit worse and more desperate today with higher dribbles. But in the same general ballpark of when the offense has looked good. A lot of it is coming down to not making shots, which comes down to some luck and/or personnel. We don’t have the personnel we need.

We hit a bad, bad second half drought, SDSU turned it up. But it wasn’t a scared to win drought, a panic drought … didn’t appear that way to me. More about shot making.

I really do like a lot of what he’s doing. Not everything … but he’s been sideline solid because of buy in and accountability, not so much Xs and Os. Love that he’s yanking guys, taking away starts, minutes, etc. But that’s one part one of discipline, you can’t lose them, have to build them up. Sometimes you will lose a guy, it happens.

Solid crowd in enthusiasm, decent number. Enjoyed the game and effort, not the result.

On to next.

ps, SDSU isn’t great, not undefeated great, certainly nowhere near 91 UNLV, they wouldn’t even be UCSB in that season with this team. They aren’t even St Joes undefeated quality which was a sham as well, IMO. They’re a product of a very mediocre, not poor, schedule.
