Did we play ASU?

Like Moscurry said, we were victimized by an ASU-record 18/36 from beyond the arc. Our perimeter defense probably contributed to their success. It wasn’t a very pretty game to watch, and truth be told, I quit on it about mid-way through the second half.

No great surprise, as I predicted that we would go 2-4 over this stretch leading to conference play. I saw nothing to alter that view. I had secretly hoped, that if we could pull off an upset, ASU would be the one. Our prospects against Duke, Kansas and Oregon St are far less optimistic.

But realistically, although I still love this rag-tag collection of last-minute recruits, transfers and holdovers, along with the coach who is tasked with making something of them, expecting them to be competitive vs some very tough opposition is a lot to ask. Although we’re likely to be on the long side of some more lop-sided scores, let’s see if the experience serves them well in MWC play...Patience...

Thanks for the updates.

Hopefully they continue to learn and grow. Definitely a rough stretch coming up. Wish I was in Vegas and could catch a few games and at least support these guys. Regardless of how things end up this season. If things work out next year and we move back west, looking forward to being in the T&M again.
