Devastating because this was supposed to be a year that restored hope. Instead, everyone is left questioning everything and hope is nowhere to be found.
Devastating because instead of finishing last, we finished 8th. Everyone’s reasonable expectations were to finish top half.
Devastating because our rival embarrassed us again and won the conference for the second straight year. We sit home while watching them dance.
Devastating because UNLV is probably the school most dependent on basketball revenue for their athletic program in the whole country and you can’t envision a scenario where revenue doesn’t go down next year.
