We are less than two weeks from the first night of Desert Reign summer league action. Here are a few brief notes about this year's event:
- Games will be played as four eight minute quarters instead of two halves
- The event will be sponsored by Raising Cane's
- It will begin on June 17th and run until July 28th
- Only one week will they have two days with games (July 7th and 10th)
- Doubleheaders will be played at 6 pm and 7:30 pm
- There will once again be four teams
- Some players that are rumored to be participating - Rebels Dwayne Morgan, Jerome Seagears, Ben Carter, Ike Nwagu, Stephen Zimmerman, Daquan Cook; Marcus Fizer, Keith Ramsey, Samuel Johnson, Pierre Jackson, Ray Smith (UofA), Justin Simon (UofA), C.J. Watson, Billy White, the usual Las Vegas suspects, a handful of highly rated high schoolers.
