Enough said. Celtics nugs should be a nice boring finals.
Him and Joel Anthony are who I like.Good for him. My favorite Runnin Rebel to watch play in the last couple decades.
Crazy to think he has been the most successful Rebel in the NBA the last decade plus.Enough said. Celtics nugs should be a nice boring finals.
Pat M had some very solid but short lived success.Crazy to think he has been the most successful Rebel in the NBA the last decade plus.
Nuggets/Mavs should be fun lots of scoring and between Luka and Joker tons of great passes.
Celtics just jack 3's and play a lot of ISO, it is like watching us play at times over the last several years. So yeah watching them and Nuggets will be boring.
Haven’t seen him since..Good for him. My favorite Runnin Rebel to watch play in the last couple decades.
He did though I wonder if that was more a function of the talent around him because as soon as he left not so much.Pat M had some very solid but short lived success.
When you think of the guys that Rice had I wouldn't have put him on my top 5 list of those likely to have a long NBA career.Pat M had some very solid but short lived success.
I think he was a really good fit for them at that time. Not that Pat didnt have ability, he did … he just filled in all sorts of tiny fissures on that team.He did though I wonder if that was more a function of the talent around him because as soon as he left not so much.
I hadn’t seen his name in quite some time, but I’m assuming CWood is still playing? When you think of the guys that Rice had I wouldn't have put him on my top 5 list of those likely to have a long NBA career.
Been injured last few months but even healthy he was only getting erratic minutes off the bench for the Lakers. He needs to go elsewhere and hope he can reestablish his career because he's stagnating in LA.I hadn’t seen his name in quite some time, but I’m assuming CWood is still playing?
He gets cut for a reason C WOOD its not talent. Pat McCaw is talented. Just does not have the demeanor to play. Hes like above average at with a lot of NBA qualities just not way above average to be a long term impactful NBA player.Been injured last few months but even healthy he was only getting erratic minutes off the bench for the Lakers. He got more playtime because we only had 7 uninjured scholarship players.Remember under Rice Derrick Jones was getting little time. After Rice got fired DJones got way more time. Maybe Rice team would have been better if he played D Jones more.
I had a debate with someone on this board last year about how Dallas wasn't using him properly and how well he would do elsewhere. His matador defense was somehow the Mavs fault. No surprise the same thing happened in LA. Like the same will happen with his next team. No one wants a big man who can't (or won't) play defense.Been injured last few months but even healthy he was only getting erratic minutes off the bench for the Lakers. Um, he was a freshman on a loaded team, put up good numbers when he was in there. Had some starter type minutes (25+) under Rice. Then a ton of injuries, UNLV barely had anything left, he got a few more minutes, still pretty good numbers.Remember under Rice Derrick Jones was getting little time. We’ve been over it before … many times … leopards … spots …I had a debate with someone on this board last year about how Dallas wasn't using him properly and how well he would do elsewhere. Derrick actually wanted to return right? But the NCAA screwed him over if memory serves.Um, he was a freshman on a loaded team, put up good numbers when he was in there. Was very raw as a freshman whether it was the start of the season or end of the season. Athletic, high energy; nose for the ball and a flair - at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season.
Let’s credit Todd for Derrick the NBA’er and blame Rice for holding him back and having it cost his job. That’d be an ultra rich take.
But a healthy Ben as a senior vs a talented raw freshman Derrick .,,, Ben is going to win, he was glue, didn’t need touches on a team with players who needed some touches. Before he got hurt. Was he supposed to start at SG? Over McCaw? Play PG?
That f’n snitch at Auburn still coaching.Derrick actually wanted to return right? But the NCAA screwed him over if memory serves.
Oh right Bruce PearlThat f’n snitch at Auburn still coaching.
