DE 3* Kyle Stanback (brother of former Runnin' Reb Chace Stanback)

Where are you seeing his recruiting ranking? I dont see it anywhere.

6'7 250lbs Can he catch?
Isn't the circled part below, his 24/7 ranking? I don't know... regardless, he's got two brothers that played/plays college basketball (Chace at UNLV and Trevor is at Stanford)... and a dad that played college football at UNC and a few games in the NFL... he has the bloodlines, for sure.

Also, I believe he played some tight end... Maxpreps shows that he had 2 receptions, and 2 TDs... but Maxpreps isn't always accurate. http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/newbury-park-panthers-(newbury-park,ca)/football/stats.htm . He had 10 TFLs/ 4.5 sacks.

Regardless with his size, you'd think he'd be a perfect player that could be redshirted and developed... maybe even an offensive lineman candidate.

6'7 250 seems like a height/weight combo worth taking a look at...

Under coach Hauck we would see a dozen players with size like that recruited and most of them didn't do anything for UNLV. I wouldn't just recruit a player because he has a nice weight/height combo. Why is it nobody else is recruiting him?

He's 3* based on 247.

Same reason latest recruit McGregor had only one offer from UNM. He's a project?

D-L Recruits under Coach Sanchez:
2015: 1. Jason Fao DT 6-1 305 *** 8117 Solid career for UNLV
2. Salanoa Alo Wily DT 6-0 268 *** 7972 Solid career for UNLV
3. Melvin Johnson DT 6-3 255 ** 7790 (don"t think he ever enrolled at UNLV)

2016: 1. Jamal Halloway WDE 6-3 215 *** 8372 (played 3 games total for UNLV)
2. Leevel Tatum DT 6-2 270 *** 8254 (never enrolled)
3. Rodney Jones WDE 6-3 225 ** 7783 (played 1 game in 2017 & 1 in 2018)
4.Toa Iafeta DT 6-4 270 ** 7743 (I couldn't find anything on him; gone)

2017: 1. Roger Mann SDE 6-3 250 ** 7759 Solid Senior season
2. Nate Neal WDE 6-4 220 ** 7749
3. Bruce Hester DT 6-3 277 ** 7678 (gone no info)
4. Kolo Uasike DL 6-0 320 signed in May; no ratings found; solid 2018

2018: 1. Tim Mosley WDE 6-4 241 *** 8255 (red shirted in 2018)
2. Chris Manoa DT 6-0 300 *** 8139
3. Moa Heimull DT 6-1 280 *** 8265 (never enrolled)
4. 3 JC transfers who didn't contribute much in 2018

When you analyze this group there is really no way you can predict what type of player they will be by their 247 sports rating. Jameer Outsey must of been a late signer a few years ago; he had a better 2017 season then is Senior year in 2018.
Same with Nick Dehdashtian, who was out 2018 with injuries.

So who starts on the DL in 2019? From the group above Nick Dehdashtian and Kolo Uasike if healthy probably will. 2019 Recruits Tavai Tuitasi and Eliel Ehimare might. And who else do we recruit that can make an impact in 2019? Or who steps up from the returners? Six wins won't be easy.
