Dan Mullen on David Pollack’s college football podcast

That was a great interview, and IMO, it really brings some clarity as to why Mullen brought in Alex Orgy. He talked about developing QB's, and how he molded guys with all different skillsets to be great college (and beyond) QB's. Alex Orgy has incredible physical skills, but needs coaching on his reads and throwing technique. But Mullen puts a lot of stock in the intangibles.

Thanks for posting that.

Wow, I enjoyed that interview. What a personality.

True more of a developmental prospect than a help right now prospect. With his athleticism you can tell he wants to make him into a poor man's Tebow.

That was the first thing I noticed. If he can bring the transfer portal QB's, as well as the ones already on the team, to the level of their potential, there is a great chance for UNLV to make the playoffs this next season.

Denver tried to tweak Tebows throwing motion too, didn't quite work out.
But Mullen has been able to succeed with an athletic qb with a less than desirable throwing motion before so...

Elway was caught rolling his eyes every time Tebow attempted a pass, he could not stand the idea of Tebow for another season and got rid of him as soon as he could after the season!
