Honestly anyone who saw that Wyo was -1 yesterday probably thought taking that side was free money. With how we've been playing lately can you blame them?
I'm impressed with the coaches getting the players to implement the game plan they wanted. It wasn't a perfect plan (overplay Wyo on the perimeter even if it means them getting into the lane) but it worked and the players trusted it. Also, the improvement of Mooring in this game was impressive. Time will tell if he reverts back to form but I like the 7 assists to just one TO.
I know Mooring isn't a true PG but imagine how these coaches can develop a guy if given multiple years (and a willing recipient) to do so.
