You've got to be kidding me! 45??? You will be shocked at many of the teams ranked ahead of them.

26 years without being really relevant does that. If we'd kept up a national presence the legend of the 1990 team would've been kept alive and fresh in people's minds. Plus the 90-91 team was far more dominant than the team that actually won the championship so that that plays into it too. Had the 90-91 team won it all they'd be arguably the best ncaa champion of all time, end of story.

*It's still absurdly low for a team that crushed it's opponent by a record margin.

Wow if anything I figured the 91 Duke team was going to be ahead of the 90 Rebels as a "beating Goliath" sort of thing. This list seems like they're trying hard to justify the earlier winners based solely on record which is a shame.

There are some teams ahead of UNLV that the Rebels would've absolutely destroyed. 2015 Duke? Really? 90 UNLV vs 15 Duke would've been men against little boys, the Rebs win that matchup by 40 points easy. 02 Maryland? I don't think so. This is a prototypical ESPN CBB ranking.
