Any chance UNLV getting Chris Popoola's son? Seemed he wanted to come to UNLV, but Menzies wasn't interested. Junior is now at Salt Lake Community College.

It is unlikely that Popoola will see much playing time at a MWC level school.
I believe he will be a 22-year-old sophomore when the season starts this fall. The Popoola and Holmes/Muhammad families are into the inflated "star rating" process. Christian Popoola even runs a "scouting" business geared toward it. Shabazz Muhammad was exposed his freshman year at UCLA as being 20 years old, while always claiming to be younger. When Utah posted Popoola's birth date in his bio it was a year earlier than had been listed by recruiting services for years.
