😕Lower your passing expectations with Orji.
Omg you get it, agreed! We need pass rushers that will make our DB’s look better. We lost our best one we need to replace him and add to the depth we didn’t really have this year.
Alex Orji committed just now. Very perplexed by this. Not mad, but very surprised…
This Orji guy runs a 4.34 40 yard dash?I guess it will be a competition like last year as long as he is ok if he loses out I wouldn’t expect a Michigan player to be cool with that.
All those WR’s didn’t come here to catch balls from Orji. He is an athletic, bruising QB. Will give us options in run situations.I’m nervous about the fact that Orji came here. Not a passing quarterback at all… but I also wouldn’t expect him to transfer somewhere he wouldn’t be the starter. Which makes me think Colandrea must not be all that good if Mullen was looking to create this kind of competition in the QB room. This just seems odd to me. If Orji wins the starting job it won’t be an exciting offense via air. Colandrea seemed to fit the mold pretty well, but I didn’t know who he was prior to him committing so I don’t know his game. Lots of interceptions. I’m finding difficulty in feeling confident about our QB situation but I hope I’m wrong.
I wasn't sold on Colandrea to begin with this didn't do much to change that. Hope I'm wrong but to me it appears a small notch below Hajj and Sluka.I’m nervous about the fact that Orji came here. Yeah, it's starting to look like Ochoa will get the start.I’m nervous about the fact that Orji came here. Yeah maybe but Orji would have to be willing to be our Tebow/Taysom Hill type. It's a cheap version of the Leak/Tebow combo...which won a National Championship together
Mullen wants a guy who can run and throw not an either or type of QB!Yeah, it's starting to look like Ochoa will get the start.
According to draftscout.com, Orji completed his 40-yard dash in 4.34 secondsI’m nervous about the fact that Orji came here. Unless it's the second coming of Brady, we aren't happy. You haven't noticed this yet lol? TBH, more Twitter lately has been like a vacation, even with the crazy Karens.Orji is a very good pickup. I don’t understand the negativity, he’s a national champion that has seen the biggest stages of College Football and has been a starter for one of the CFB premier program. The pressure that comes with that is immense and he will do well here under CDM and playing vs MW competition.
Absolutely dynamic player and will be competing for the starter position. He has the potential to put up funny numbers against this level of competition.
I am just envisioning what Mullen can do with two QB sets in the spread offense.Well, I am in favor...

Some guy named orgy.Talent wise how area we in comparison to last years team???? Any impact players?? i know some P4 bench players can turn into impact players in the MWC ,but how optimistic should i be as of now??
I’d be surprised if a non db could catch him. I need to watch more film on him though. From the numbers, his accuracy is an issue, but that was also against top defenses. Hopefully he can pass on the MW.According to draftscout.com, Orji completed his 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds
Who in the MWC can even catch him?
Right? We just pulled 2 P4 QBs with experience as starters at higher levels than any QB we've had in years and the reaction is, meh-Orji is a very good pickup. The guy has been playing at the highest level of college football right out of high school for two years. If Mullen and Dennis can get his passing game to where it needs to be with two years of college ball remaining we might be seeing a great QB at UNLV. If Mullen can make that happen in one year we will be looking for a new coach OR we may attract some of the best of the best QB's here to learn from Mullen.I’d be surprised if a non db could catch him. It’s on the front page of ESPN as a Top Headline. Some people think this is a big deal. I feel better about the QB room with the Orji addition.ESPN article, on QB Alex Orji.

Jason Thomas came from a high level of competition too, it doesn’t guarantee success. I think it is because both have played and failed. And Colandrea was benched because he threw an awful lot of interceptions. He looked awful the one game I saw. That said if he is truly Mullen’s guy then I trust that he thinks he can get more out of him.Right? Biggest difference is that rather than have two guys who are coming up in competition, both of these guys are coming down.Hajj vs Sluka on steroids.
