Indiana just did very well with a crapton of transfers from JMU.

They did very well against the bad teams but got buried by the good ones.

Purdue will not have the schedule like IU did this year. So no, they will not have the season the IU have this year. If Purdue get to .500 wins, that is a win. And go bowling. And they will kick some MAC team in the teeth in their bowl game.

That's my point. If they can match the level of Indiana in year one, they would be doing backflips, especially with if they win that head to head
