CDM Era: Transfer Portal and Recruits Thread

Now our name is getting thrown out to give transfers credibility, much like they would name former SEC, B10, etc transfers.
Who the Hell was still listening to cassettes by the time Ten came out?
Look I thought CDs were a fad.
Plus I got a smoking deal on some cassettes. I signed up for one of those Buy 10 cassettes at .99 cents each and commit to buy 100 more at regular price.
I only have seven more to go...
Appetite for Destruction was a monster. It’s not top 10 (the genre is way too big for it to be there), but it was an absolute game changer for where rock was at that moment.
That album was on par with Van Halen 1 in so far as what it did for rock and roll. Ten and Nevermind and probably Bad Motorfinger I kind of group together as a moment that caused the next shift.
And then it all basically died.
I did it with CDs 😂… I kept signing up under different variations of my name and getting 10-12 albums at a time without ever buying any of the ones I was supposed to 😂
Must’ve done that 15-20 times.
Time to pull the old walkman out of storage. I loved that thing! Way better than the diskman.
