Was part of an OL that only allowed 15 sacks all season and finished 17th in sacks allowed...another good transfer signing
Hopefully CDM was saving some of the NIL money for the end to get some real impact players. I am optimistic on the signings ,but not satisfied.
Give it time, I bet he is aware of NIL season 2 after spring ball ends!
UNLV is going to have to employ half the culinary union members to feed these guys. Big Bodies.

I see he is also bringing a few WR’s over 6’0” tall too, I am loving what I’m seeing from this Mullen guy! Lol
He actually played at Centennial Corona. Was a Utah commit until a couple weeks ago when he decommitted from Utah. Had a lot of high P4 offers before choosing the Utes.
Looks like he was also at Bishop Gorman for a short time. Looks like he grew up in Vegas.
Yeah I saw that. I wonder if ever played for Centennial in NLV, because some of his other profiles show him playing for Centennial/Las Vegas
We are sitting at #64 in the 24/7 rankings with 16 transfers. Purdue is at #44 with the same level of talent but with 26 transfers. Does that mean we aren't done moving up yet? I think we should wind up top 50.
He, is the one I wanted. Hometown, kid is gonna be a stud for UNLV.

I think we signed a bunch of has beens from better conferences.
They knew that they weren’t gonna be able to compete for their jobs. So they high tail it to UNLV.

I think "Has Beens" may be just a little strong. It does look like many if not most of them were buried down the roster. But I think Odom's portal classes were similar. A few top notch and others unheralded. We'll see.
Odom's first class is nothing compare to this. It was his second class that bring all of the players like Grimes, Catalon, Cain, Doyle...Coach Mullen's class is even better than Coach Odom's second class thus far. We will see how it translates. I think this might be the most improved college football team in the country. That say something because UNLV won 11 games last year.
When other schools spend up to $20million for top prospects what can we expect? Mullen has an excellent reputation that brought up Mississippi State to the top ten one year. I hope that Mullen and staff can develop them to their full potential. Also, some of the recruits were 4^ out of high school. So the potential is there.
This is what I have been hoping for with UNLV football, a good team with a good coach and hope every offseason! I remember just over 2 years ago Arroyo was here finishing 5-7 and there were more than a few here saying we just need to give Marcus more time and I was like NO we need to fire him!
So glad things worked out the way they have.

I am hoping that basketball is next to hire a former HC to lead the program so we can debate how many tournament games we will win each year instead of hoping for an NIT birth!
When Marcus Arroyo, started out his head coaching record at 0-14.

Arroyo is just too introvert for Vegas. No one like an introvert. The man can recruit, though and evaluate talents. Mr. Cam Skabadoo from Sac state will probably the first RB pick in this upcoming NFL draft
You are correct on top 10. But to be more specific they were ranked for the first time No. 1 in the country before a close loss on the road to Saban and no. 5 Alabama. That’s BIG BOYS football!
This is an interesting take to say the least. That’s exactly what UNLV needs is high talent from P4 conferences that need playing time. Do you think Ricky White was a “has been” because he left Michigan St to come here?
I’m sorry but you’re not going to convince me that getting backups from LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Utah, and ASU is a bad thing. Come on now.
This is the formula for G5’s recruit the depth players who are 2nd, 3rd and a lot of the time 4th stringers and develop them with coaching and playing time!
All of the above coupled with Mullen and Co. is the obvious MO for UNLV football success going forward… winning year in and year out could mean Big 12 in the near future!
Obviously Ricky White III and Jackson Woodard were has beens along with De Jesus who was a nobody has been!
I actually think it's more of guys no longer waiting for "their turn" like they used to where they'd sit for a few seasons behind someone at a SEC school. 4 star guys are transferring to schools where they can be that guy vs just another recruit.
We offer alot of playing time with a possible CFP team. It's an opportunity for them to play and that's why we're landing alot of P4 talent
Unfortunately this is the way of life for UNLV football! Every year you bring in a fresh crew of mostly P4 guys because your previous guys from the prior year who flash because of talent or increased playing time will transfer out after 1 year with UNLV for the cash of a P4 in need at that position. We saw it this year with Powell, Camac, Elad, the backup TE, DeJesus and the kicker of all people! Lol
