Ok, I am not trying to be snooty here, or a debbie downer, but someone please tell me that after all the players and coaches have had their fun painting the cannon with a paintbrush and a bucket of paint, that they are going to have it professionally done. That is the most expensive trophy in college sports, and I just think it shows a lack of respect to let people throw paint on it. I mean for God's sake, we dropped it and broke it once as well. Show the cannon respect it deserves, and pretend you have been here before. Does anyone know if there are plans for a real professional to give it the scarlet and grey theme it deserves?
